Comfortable. I need the firmness of the Rockport shoe as I use inserts to adjust my walk. Normally I would remove the interior padding and use a rubber base for my insert. Due to a larger than expected size I left the original insert in the shoe and am using my insert on top of it. Seems to work fine.
I have never purchased shoes via the Internet before, so I was apprehensive. However, the shoes were exactly as advertised, and the fit was perfect! My next pair of shoes will come from ShoeBuy.com. I have difficulty finding shoes that are wide enough. Typically, EEE is often tight. These fit me extremely well (which is why I think they run a little wider than marked) I just wished they were less rugged looking, and more of a dress shoe. I have them in Brown and Black. I bought this pair to replace my severely worn out Timberlands and I have been very happy with my purchase. These shoes fit great and are extremely comfortable, in addition to looking good with several different colors of slacks. My husband likes the style, comfort, and durability of this shoe. He has worn this style shoe for the last six years, but this year we couldn't find his size in the stores Anywhere locally. I was very pleased with the quick delivery of our order. The shoes arrived in excellent shape. This was our first order from this company, but we will try them again.
